Spitsvuur Kitkat at Quovadis (Kitty)
A lovely family dogOur Kitty! Beautiful rich red colouring not seen so often these days shows off her wonderful muscling and dark pigmentation. Now conformationally correct, just a little straight in stifle, but took a while to get there being one of those “ugly bugs” as a young teenager! She is now a powerfully built and dramatic looking dog. Obedient and a lovely family dog with a calm temperament, although she can be very dominant with other bitches. She lives full time with Bob and they are a “bonded pair” who adore each other. She also lives with her three puppies from her first litter that we kept as we couldn't bear to part with them. Easy to have around the house with a good guarding instinct and steady nerve, but as importantly a really good companion dog we can take anywhere and do anything with. Affectionately known as “witty” due to her “talking” ability when in front of the T.V causing great amusement! She has proved herself to be a wonderful mother; calm, tolerant and constantly educating her brood. I couldn't ask for more in a Boerboel female. HealthSuper health test scores: Hips A2/A2 (0:0) Elbows 0:0 VH0 for 3 seasons. Perfect dentition. Great overall health and soundness, no allergies, lameness, ear problems, digestive disorders, hormonal anomalies, heart or eye diseases. Excellent immune response, a fit and healthy dog! Kitty has proved herself to be a very capable, tolerant and calm mother with her first litter and to this day spends all her time with her 3 puppies here teaching them the ways of the world. She delivered her puppies with minimal assistance and happily fed them all until fully weaned and beyond! She welcomed new owners to her puppies and looked on as everyone enjoyed their company and antics. She did us all proud!
